The Point ESG News Site will host this important and informative webinar about NSW communities who have been battling since 2016 to win back local democracy and restore their councils. 

The webinar will feature: 

  • Pip Hinman, from Residents for De-amalgamation (Inner West Council area), who will speak about their successful community poll at the 2021 Council elections. 
  • Glen Moore, from the Gundagai Council in Exile, who has run a successful campaign for the demerger of the amalgamated Cootamundra Gundagai Council. 
  • Jane Smith, former Mayor of Central Coast Council, who will talk about steps the community can take to restore democratic local government. 

How to make the 25 March NSW State Government election a poll on how the state has failed local government and affected communities across NSW.
